Leadership and competition are expected of HPU’s NSAC students.
What exactly is NSAC? It’s the National Student Advertising Competition, in which advertising students from more than 150 colleges in the U.S. compete for the winning title of “Best Advertising Campaign.”
This year’s sponsor of the $10 million campaign is Mary Kay Cosmetics. NSAC students have a tough road ahead, competing in the district tournament April 12 at Servco Honolulu.
If they win they will compete at nationals in Boca Raton, Fl. on May 28.
Last year our NSAC team took first at regionals and placed in the top 11 percent in the country.
This year they hope to come home with a national title.
“This year NSAC will be better than ever,” said Jairus Kiyonaga, Junior at Hawaii Pacific University who was on last years team. “We have more students, more research, and more drive than ever before. With our team, I’m hoping we can bring home a third consecutive win for HPU.”
You can help HPU NSAC students by filling out one or all of their online surveys.
