On Oct. 27, HPU hosted its annual “Halloween FunFest” at The Waterfront at Aloha Tower Marketplace.
Young ghouls and monsters, along with their parents, made their way down to trick or treat with HPU’s faculty and student organizations.
Future Teachers Association dressed up as clowns while the Student Nurses Association created a life-like ‘operation’ where kids would have to place the correct body parts in the right place. On the main stage there was a costume contest where dozens of children lined up to show off their either very scary or very cute costumes.
The HPU Cheer and Dance teams put on a special Halloween performance wowing the children with their spectacular dance moves.
While children left that night with bags full of candy and smiles on their faces, droves of HPU ghouls flooded streets in Chinatown on Halloween night to have their ‘FunFest 2011’.
